Founded in 1906, Tully-Wihr has been building forms management solutions for the health care community for more than 40 years. Today, the company’s more than 60 hospital clients and their thousands of affiliated physicians use its Web-To-Print solutions and other services to manage the design, purchasing, storage, inventory control, and distribution of paper forms.
The Ray Morgan Company (RMC), founded in Chico California in 1956, has over 50 years experience providing a full range of document output solutions to clients large and small. RMC helps their clients manage and control overall costs of document input and output through their experience utilizing several state-of-the-art processes.
“For 103 years, Tully-Wihr has been helping our hospital and physician clients handle the thousands of paper forms required in healthcare, and now we’re excited to provide them a Web-based solution for taking paper out of the equation and automating the way they provide patient care and run their businesses with Allscripts,” said George W. Smith, CDC, Senior Vice President/Partner at Tully-Wihr. “As the federal government, payers and physicians themselves continue to move towards electronic healthcare, Tully-Whir is well positioned to help our clients step into the digital era with the nation’s leading provider of electronic health records and practice management solutions.”
The Allscripts EHR, available as both a hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) and on-premise solution, offers robust capabilities for Electronic Health Records, practice management and claims management. Designed to help small physician practices overcome cost and IT complexity barriers, the Electronic Health Record offers many features that make it simple and intuitive for the user, including:
— Offline Synchronization: Physicians can be productive anywhere, any time, even without an Internet connection. Caregivers’ offline changes and entries are automatically synchronized to update records when they reconnect
— Adaptive Learning: The EHR learns and adapts to each user’s patterns and preferences, making workflow and charting faster and easier
— Intelligent Navigation: Relevant clinical content is automatically displayed based on presenting symptoms, even suggesting next logical entry options. Users can move freely throughout the application without enter/exit screens
— Template-Free Charting: Physicians can use their preferred workflow, so they can navigate wherever they need to in the application to document multiple complaints or easily handle multiple patients
— Easy Customization: Physicians and other caregivers using the solution can quickly change and customize screens to match their individual preferences
“Independent physicians and small groups are looking for a way to enter the electronic healthcare highway with affordable costs, minimal IT investment and management requirements, and a product that is easy to learn. We believe our hosted electronic health record offering is the right answer right now,” said Glen Tullman, Chief Executive Officer of Allscripts. “We will also benefit from Tully-Wihr’s 103 years of experience building strong relationships with the leading healthcare organizations in Northern California. Given the value we place on relationships with our clients, Tully-Wihr is an ideal partner. We’re looking forward to working together to help the region’s physicians improve the health of their patients and their own bottom lines.”
Tully-Wihr will integrate its own marketing communications services with the Allscripts EHR, providing physician practices a single-source solution for all of their clinical, practice management and integrated marketing needs.
