Multi-Faceted Behavioral and Mental Health Organization will Utilize Netsmart’s Avatar Suite of Software and Professional Services

NTST, a leading supplier of enterprise-wide software for health and human services organizations, today announced that it has been awarded a $1,200,000 software and services contract by Sweetser, Maine’s most comprehensive behavioral and mental health provider.

The contract includes licensed software, professional services and a one year maintenance agreement for Netsmart’s broad-based Avatar suite of health and human services software. Sweetser will utilize Avatar’s wide variety of clinical and management capabilities, including practice management, managed care, Web-based electronic prescriptions, electronic health record and a newly-developed mobile solution.

In 2000, Sweetser, a private, non-profit, non-sectarian organization, merged with The Family Institute of Maine and Shoreline Community Mental Health Services, two of Maine’s most respected mental health agencies.
