Mitochon Systems Inc., a provider of medical EMR and connectivity solutions, has signed an agreement with Hoag Hospital of Newport Beach, California, for interoperability and data exchange participation in its Health Information Exchange. The Health Information Exchange will enable the exchange of information between practices who utilize the Mitochon Systems application within the hospital’s community-wide initiative to electronically link hospital services, physicians and other healthcare providers to truly offer integrated patient care. The full-scale rollout of Hoag’s Health Information Exchange will be announced at a future date.
