eClinicalWorks V10 Receives 2014 ONC HIT Certification

WESTBOROUGH, Mass. (August 05, 2013) – eClinicalWorks® announced today that eClinicalWorks V10 is compliant with the ONC 2014 Edition criteria and was certified as a Complete EHR on July 24, 2013 by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ACB, in accordance with the applicable Eligible Provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The ONC HIT Certification Program certifies that Complete EHRs meet all of the 2014 Edition criteria and EHR Modules meet one or more

eClinicalWorks V10’s certification number is CC-2014-955447-1. ONC HIT certification conferred by CCHIT does not represent an endorsement of the certified EHR technology by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

eClinicalWorks V10 meets the Complete EHR certification criteria as an integrated bundle of EHR modular products. The products which make up the Complete EHR include: eClinicalWorks V10.

The clinical quality measures to which eClinicalWorks has been certified includes CMS2v2, CMS50v1, CMS68v2, CMS69v1, CMS90v2, CMS138v1, CMS156v1, CMS165v1 and CMS166v2.

The additional software eClinicalWorks relied upon to demonstrate compliance includes: Healthwise, Incorporated, Healthwise Patient Education EMR Module, 9.7.

The additional types of costs that an eligible provider would pay to implement eClinicalWorks V10 in order to attempt to meet meaningful use objectives and measures include those associated with a third-party partner, Healthwise, that provides patient-specific education.
