SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (October 02, 2011) – eClinicalWorks®, a market leader in ambulatory clinical systems, today kicks off its 2011 National Users Conference at the J.W. Marriott Desert Ridge Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz., with a sold out event of 2,700 attendees. The conference, which runs through October 4, brings together users of eClinicalWorks software for training and networking. Attendees also receive an exclusive look at new products and enhancements to existing solutions, and are eligible for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits during more than 30 sessions.

“Every year, this conference provides an excellent opportunity for us, our customers and our partners to all learn from each other and grow,” said Girish Kumar Navani, CEO and co-founder of eClinicalWorks. “For this year’s sold out event, we focused on the theme Improving Healthcare Together(TM), showcasing innovations that aid in improving care and organizations that exemplify improving quality, whether through demonstrating meaningful use, becoming a Patient-centered Medical Home or Accountable Care Organization, receiving a Davies award or showing improved workflow in their practice. This is always an exciting event and we look forward to learning through all of the great works our customers are performing.”

During the opening ceremony, eClinicalWorks is honoring six of its customers that have received the HIMSS Davies Awards during the past four years, recognizing excellence in the implementation of and value from health information technology. Those acknowledged are: Hudson River HealthCare, New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Open Door Family Medical Center, Urban Health Plan, ARcare (formerly White River Rural Health) and New York Children’s Health Project.
