Allscripts Awarded MS-HUG ‘Best in Class’ for Ambulatory Care for Second Consecutive Year

Top Recognition Awarded to Allscripts Client, George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates

The ninth annual MS-HUG Awards showcase the most innovative solutions and customers of Microsoft(R) technology in the healthcare industry. Judging is performed by a select group of members from the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, who review systems including electronic health records, electronic medical records, digital image management, and home health.

Additionally, George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) received the prestigious HIMSS ‘Article of the Year’ Award. ‘Rapid Implementation of an Electronic Health Record in an Academic Setting’ was published in the Journal of Healthcare Information Management in 2005. The ‘Article of the Year’ Award recognizes a research paper or case study from the year that provided the greatest insight for information and management systems professionals.
