Users with integrated clinical and financial software now able to take advantage of federal stimulus incentives

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (May 18, 2011) –

ADP® AdvancedMD, a leader in cloud-based electronic health record (EHR), practice management, medical scheduling software, and billing applications for medical practices and medical billing services, today announced AdvancedMD EHR 2011 Summer release is 2011/2012 compliant and was certified as a Complete EHR on May 13, 2011 by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ATCB, in accordance with the applicable eligible provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The 2011/2012 criteria supports the stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

“We are pleased to achieve this federal certification through CCHIT, which has been our certification testing body since 2007,” said Raul Villar, President of ADP AdvancedMD. “We are especially pleased to achieve ONC-ATCB certification, which is essential for meaningful use reporting.”

The ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification program tests and certifies that Complete EHRs meet all of the 2011/2012 criteria and EHR Modules meet one or more–but not all–of the criteria approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services for either eligible provider or hospital technology.

“This is a landmark day for our customers,” added Steven ZoBell, ADP AdvancedMD Vice President of Product Development. “Starting with our next release in June, each of our 10,000 physician clients who log in to our application via the Internet will immediately be working in a certified EHR without the hassle of installing software or hardware. Our cloud-based platform allows us to continuously update our software for all clients making it easy for them to remain compliant with future meaningful use criteria.”

ADP AdvancedMD’s certification number is CC-1112-855300-1. ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification conferred by CCHIT does not represent an endorsement of the certified EHR technology by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services nor does it guarantee the receipt of incentive payments.

The clinical quality measures to which ADP AdvancedMD 2011 Summer release has been certified include: NQF 0421, NQF 0013, NQF 0028, NQF 0041, NQF 0024, NQF 0038, NQF 0031, NQF 0043 and NQF 0061. The additional software used in testing included First Data Bank and Surescripts v. 4.2.
