Sappington will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s business strategies, overseeing day-to-day operations and managing the gloStream software research and development team. Sappington also will develop a nationwide network of partners to sell, deliver and support its electronic medical record software and practice management solutions. gloStream partners will undergo a certification process to ensure they are proficient at implementing and supporting the company’s solutions. gloStream also will offer its partners ongoing training, sales and support services creating a world class support environment for physicians nationwide.

Sappington has more than 20 years experience with fast-growing technology companies as an entrepreneur, senior leader and visionary. As partner and COO of Michigan-based Netrex Secure Solutions, Sappington took part in pioneering and developing a platform for managed security services for the Internet. Netrex was eventually purchased by Internet Security Systems, which is now part of IBM and remains one of the largest managed security services firms across the globe. Sappington also held board, advisory and senior management positions at other technology companies.
