David Brailer, M.D., Ph.D., named by President Bush as the first National Coordinator for Healthcare Information Technology in 2004, will join the Allscripts event and provide the keynote presentation. Dr. Brailer is widely credited with bringing national attention to the need for healthcare information technology to lower costs and improve the quality of patient care.
