Antitrust Waiting Period Expires on Allscripts-Misys Merger Agreement

Regulatory Hurdle Clears Way for Approval of Merger

CHICAGO (June 02, 2008) –

Allscripts, the leading provider of clinical software, connectivity and information solutions that physicians use to improve healthcare, announced today that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, with respect to the merger agreement announced on March 18, 2008 between Allscripts and Misys Healthcare to form Allscripts-Misys Healthcare Solutions, Inc., has expired.

The expiration of the Hart-Scott-Rodino waiting period satisfies one of the closing conditions. The transaction remains subject to other customary closing conditions.
