Michael J. Goran, M.D., Joins Ingenix Consulting
Nationally Recognized Physician and Health Care Executive Brings Expertise in Integrated Delivery Systems, Shared Savings Models and Quality Improvement
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (January 05, 2010) –
Ingenix Consulting has appointed Michael J. Goran, M.D., as a senior vice president.
Dr. Goran is a nationally recognized physician and health care executive with more than 30 years of experience in health care consulting. In his new role, he will work with managers and boards of directors at hospitals, health systems and health plans on matters of strategy, operations and health care policy.
Before joining Ingenix Consulting, Dr. Goran was a partner in the health care group practice of Ernst & Young, LLP, where he was responsible for the firm’s managed care consulting business. He has also served as a senior advisor at BDC Advisors, LLC, a national health care strategy consulting firm.
Dr. Goran’s consulting experience is complemented by many years of health care business leadership, including his role as executive director and medical director for a health maintenance organization, and as an administrator of professional peer-review programs for physicians in the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare. He currently serves as a trustee of the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and is the Board Chair of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Clinic.
