Senior Health Care Leaders Join Ingenix Consulting Performance Improvement Practice
Add depth, breadth of expertise to help health care providers and health plans improve clinical performance, operational effectiveness
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (August 03, 2010) –
Senior health care industry leaders with deep expertise in advancing performance for health care organizations continue to join the Ingenix Consulting Performance Improvement Practice–an organization dedicated to helping hospitals, physician practices and health plans optimize the delivery and financing of health care.
Hospitals, health systems and physician practices face increasing pressure to improve the quality and effectiveness of patient care while controlling costs. The Ingenix Consulting Performance Improvement Practice helps health care organizations improve clinical outcomes, operational effectiveness and financial performance by aligning people, processes, technology and reporting strategies. Consultants in this practice are specialists in health care delivery system design and management, patient experience and customer service operations, and revenue cycle management.
New additions to the Ingenix Consulting Performance Improvement Practice executive management team include:
M. Scott Armstrong, vice president, who helps clients assess and mitigate operational risk, optimize revenue cycle management processes, and plan, deploy, integrate and maintain their IT systems. With 23 years of experience advising health care providers on process improvement, IT implementation and change management issues, Armstrong most recently served as senior director of revenue cycle and clinical analytics services at Eclipsys Corp.
Tim Breaux, vice president, who implements payment models that enhance quality of care and reduce costs by facilitating greater collaboration between providers and payers. Before joining Ingenix Consulting, Breaux was an independent health care consultant. He also worked at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in the west coast health care practice for more than 15 years.
Michael Cadwell, partner, who leads a team that helps clients reduce their operational costs by improving resource management, standardizing administrative processes and renegotiating vendor contracts. Cadwell has more than 17 years of health care industry experience. He previously was a managing director at Wellspring Partners where he oversaw multiple performance improvement projects and managed the development of new service offerings.
“With specialists from across the health care system, the Ingenix Consulting Performance Improvement Practice is a center of excellence that helps clients improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction, while achieving their operational and financial goals,” said Ingenix Consulting CEO John Nackel. “Armstrong, Breaux and Cadwell add to the depth and diversity of this expanding and increasingly critical consulting practice.”
