Monterey, CA (April 15, 2011) –
Integritas, Inc. announced today that its Agility EHR 10 was certified for an additional 13 clinical quality measures. This adds to the list of nine previously certified quality measures, for a new total of 22 certified measures.
The testing was performed by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-Authorized Testing and Certifying Body (ATCB), in accordance with the applicable “Eligible Provider” certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services for ONC-ATCB Certification. The 2011/2012 criteria support the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
“For initial ARRA certification in 2010, EHR vendors were asked to limit initial testing to the six core and three alternate clinical quality measures,” said Ed Stroupe, Executive Vice President of Integritas. “However, many of our clients have a keen interest in monitoring and reporting other kinds of measures, particularly in the area of Wellness. This certification enables providers to round out their reporting capabilities in such areas as cancer screening, tobacco cessation, diabetes and blood pressure management.”
The total list of clinical quality measures for which Agility EHR 10 is certified includes:
